For the last 3 days I have walked on nothing but pavement, asphalt, or the inside of a building. While walking around I noticed that everything I walked on was man made. At first it was unintentional, but I soon realized how easy it would be to avoid natural surfaces completely.

A women in her local paper took out a one inch ad listing the number of Americans killed in the Iraq War to date. I believe it was a effective anti-war advertising campaign!
